As well as the lucky country, could Australia also become the loving country?

The Kindness Revolution looks at the times we put the common good first, with kindness, personal sacrifice, and communities coming together to support one another.

Hugh Mackay reflects on our recent challenges and the questions we ask ourselves. What really matters to me? Am I living the kind of life I want? What sort of society do I want us to become? The Kindness Revolution is a book for our time.

Hugh Mackay is a social psychologist and author of 22 books, including The Good Life and The Art of Belonging. He has honorary doctorates from 5 Australian universities and is an Officer of the Order of Australia.
