In his new book, the Hon. John Howard, OM AC SSI explores how a sense of balance has defined Australia as a nation, as well as its role in our future.
A Sense of Balance reflects on how Australia responds to contemporary pressures such as the pandemic, the election of Donald Trump, Brexit, the rise of China, and changes in its own leadership.
John Howard has faith that, in the face of challenges, it is Australia’s sense of balance that will ensure we remain robust.
John Howard was Australia’s 25th Prime Minister, and our second longest serving Prime Minister. He is the author of The Menzies Era and bestselling autobiography Lazarus Rising.
Mr Howard will be in conversation with the Hon. Michael Yabsley, a former NSW MLA and a federal Treasurer of the Liberal Party.
